After six weeks the children were finally ready for their interviews. In year 5 the children had created their own company and advertised for staff, they had thought of the different job roles in their company. We advertised on our school website and the children were able to apply for a job of their choice and post them in the postbox in Y5G. Once we had all our applications in the companies were able to decide who they were going to interview and prepared their interview questions. There were some fabulous examples –

What would you do if you had to deal with a disgruntled customer?

The children then arrived on Wednesday morning dressed to impress and ready for their interview – we had many successful candidates, Charlie McVann and Sam Columbine were highly successful and managed to get more than one job. I am sure that in the future they will have no problem in finding employment.
