To celebrate World Book Day we thought about how we could represent different words. Y5F did a brilliant job! We had words such as “ exhausted”, “ unique”, “eccentric” and “ internet”. Our winning costume was inspired by the word “ technology”.

We took part in a live crowd cast with children’s author Michael Rosen. The children listened very intently and learned how important using your voice and expressions are when telling a story.

We spoke about our favourite books and recommended some to our peers to help them discover new favourites. It was wonderful to see children sharing their love of literature on such a special day.
